Notes:
The March 29th, 2009 Words and Music Show marks the beginning of a short transition from Casa Del Popolo to Le Cagibi. From the event poster and radio ad, we know the show began at 9 p.m. and tickets coast $5. The recording begins with music by bassist, poet, and sound performer Jason Milan and indie rock musician Alex Ferrier (who happens to be W&M Show founder Ian Ferrier's nephew). The night also included poetry from Mohawk artist Kary-Ann Deer, Canadian performance poet David Bateman, spoken word and slam poet Jason Freure, and an improvised musical performance by Indigenous artists Emilie Monnet and Moe Clark.
