Notes:
The September 2009 Words and Music Show kicked off at 9 p.m. with a performance by Quebec poet and singer Kyra Shaughnessy promoting her CD "One Step Closer," followed by a reading by Gillian Sze featuring works from her book "Fish Bones" (DC Books 2009) and poems later published in "The Anatomy of Clay" (ECW Press 2011). Jason Camlot also read a number of excerpts from his third collection of poems entitled "The Debaucher" (Insomniac Press 2008), while the night capped off with music from folk singer-songwriter Amos Joannides’ album "I want to see you smile."
