CONTENT

Notes:
From the poster we learn that the Sunday 21 February 2010 edition of the Words and Music Show at the Casa del Popolo was a combination live performance and collective creation session. Advertised as an invitation to “WRITE, DRINK & DRAW to live music from Pharmakon MTL,” comprised of band members Ian Ferrier, Moe Clark and Kris Mah, the poster asked attendees to “bring your sketchbooks, comix, computers, pens, pencils, drawing tablets, crafts, crochet stuff, collage cutouts and yarn!” and to “be creative, alone, or, with others…” Photos from the event show one very long table with red table cloths where people worked on stuff together, and single tables with individuals doing things on their own, with laptops, notebooks, and other materials. The event was held at “the NEW Casa (ENTER Via 4873 St. Laurent)” signalling the availability of the new live music show room, and shifting of the stage to that adjacent space just North of the original Casa del Popolo space. Music was from 9pm to 12am and it cost $5 to participate.
