As the press release says, the Sunday, 20 March 2011 Words and Music Show presented “top poets, writers and performers from New York, Vancouver, Ottawa and Montreal. From New York it was “word song maker” Adeena Karasick. From Vancouver it was “Fugitives star and slam champ” Barbara Adler. And billed as “from Ottawa”, Paul Seesequasis, member of Plains Cree First Nation from Saskatchewan, and author of the novella, Tobacco Wars (Quattro Books, 2006). And the music by Montreal act, Braveheart. Held in the Casa del Popolo show bar, 4873 St-Laurent.
