On January 20th 2013, and in collaboration with CKUT 90.3 FM, the Words and Music show welcomed Canadian singer-songwriter Rae Spoon following the release of their book First Spring Grass Fire (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2012) at the Casa del Popolo. The event also featured prize-winning spoken word by the Stars of Spoken Word - winners of the radio station’s ‘Words on Waves’ contest. Doors opened at 8, the show started at 9, and tickets were 6$.
