Notes:
On Sunday 23 April 2006, the Words and Music show celebrate the 50th anniversary of Allen Ginsberg’s first presentation of HOWL. Montreal poets Fortner Anderson, Ian Ferrier, Catherine Paquette and Kyra Shaughnessy pay tribute to the Beat Generation at the Casa del Popolo. Doors open at 8PM, admission is $5. The show is hosted by Ian Ferrier, and presented in collaboration with the Quebec Writers’ Federation, CKUT 90.3FM, the IPOLC program of the Department of Canadian Heritage and Wired on Words Productions.
