This evening featured performances of poetic work by Jordan Abel, Oana Avasilichioaei, Jordan Scott and Jason Starnes. Each used the affordances of mediated sound to intervene in the oral transmission of text, creating work that invited engaged and differential forms of listening and reciprocity. The event was hosted by Cole Mash and followed by a Q&A period. We acknowledged that this event takes place on the traditional, unceded territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh, Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
