The second half of Side A contains Theodore Roethke reading his poems "The Long Alley," and "The Shape of the Fire." Side B contains W.H. Auden reading four sonnets from his collection "Journey to a War," "Song" from "Another Time," "Thanksgiving for a Habitat," "Autumn Song," "A Walk After Dark," "The Shield of Achilles," ", "Doggerel by a Senior Citizen," and "Moon Landing" interspersed with dialogue.
