The poems and the order of the poems here read differ in some respects from the printed version of Maximus IV, V, VI. Some of these differences have been examined by Georgia Linley, in her master’s essay entitled “Charles Olson’s Maximus Poems IV, V, VI (SFU, 1972). Below these will be marked w/ an asterisk (*).
