CONTENT

Contents:
Side Track No. Comments An interview with Richard Moore, in which Zukofsky reads part of “A 9” and a fairly long section of the Catullus he translated with his wife, Celia. Zukofsky also discusses Joyce, Pound, Williams, & Duncan, among others. Of interest is his reference to Henry James’ “solidity of specification.” He also discusses problems in translating from another language, e.g. Latin, Italian, into what has been called “the American idiom.” Tape duration: 33 minutes
