CONTENT

NOTES

Type:
General
Note:
Fred Wah and Daphne Marlatt talking about Marlatt's early poetry and the obligation of being a housewife and a poet/writer at the same time. She also talked about her novel writing, and authors she was mostly reading back then when she was a university student like [Laurence?], Virginia Woolf, Henry James, and Jack Kerouac. She also talks how she would make sense of her novels' plots in relation with the audience's conscious and the development of their subconscious. She talks briefly about her trips to different countries and the discoveries (oneself, and the true relationship one has with the surrounding environment) she had on each. On the second side, she continues talking about authors that she reads
