Isis is a classically trained freelance musician and educator, known for her ability to make a good sandwich, and for the musical dynamism she lends to her father’s poetic universe. Although her career has mostly been Canadian-based, she is strongly influenced by the music of her native Colombia. A medley of ‘voice/music/dance’, the event was held at the Casa del Popolo at 9 PM. In the final set, Marcel Petunia played original country music songs showcasing his yodelling skills. From the event poster, we know the show was produced in collaboration with the Quebec Writers’ Federation and The League of Canadian Poets, that it began at 9 p.m. at Casa Del Popolo, and that April L. Ford also appeared, though her performance is missing from the recording.
