NOTES
Type:

Note:
The interview ends at 7:40, and at 7:58 we hear a woman introducing her music piece named [Watercolour and Shade?]; she continues performing other pieces, introducing each one as she goes.
Type:

Note:
Roy and Tallman begin the tape by discussing how Miki's thesis on William Carlos Williams transformed into a published work. In the process, they delve into Paul Mariani's exploration of Williams' life and times, providing readers with a profound insight into the poet's mind and language. Roy Miki also shared a story about his thesis.
The interview is interrupted at 27:02, transitioning to a different segment that does not belong to Tape 1, Session 2. The full version of Tape 1, Session 2 can be found on Tape 43.
The interview is interrupted at 27:21, transitioning to a different segment that actually belongs to Tape 1, Side 2. We determined this by listening to its duplicate, Tape 253 in this collection, where Roy Miki states that he is recording Tape 1, Side 2 on February 20.
After 27:21, Miki and Tallman get to talk about different poets and their modes of thinking.
